Ever since he has held a pencil, Brian Hardison has focused his skills on transforming blank paper to windows into exotic worlds. His work has always been about characters, and bringing life to an image that may or may not otherwise exist in the real world. Whenever he can, he aims to communicate a message, and make an attachment between himself, his work, and his viewer.

His tools of choice vary from his work with watercolor, digital painting, ballpoint pens, microns, markers, and conté crayons, to his well-practiced strokes using his favorite
.05 mm mechanical pencils. He has been known to use these tools to express his ideas in illustrations, comics, layouts, and conceptual ideas. People also say he's fairly handy with what is known as a "computer." He aims to improve himself with every project he takes, and hopes that in doing so, he'll improve the outlook of his clients' too.
